Tech Town Startup Selected to Participate in Walmart Get on the Shelf Contest
Local company is on a mission to connect with shoppers and help them be green at the supermarket.
DAYTON, Ohio – August 17, 2013 -- ConnectEKO is developing an electronic system that reminds shoppers to bring their reusable bags and recyclables into the store with them.
ConnectEKO’s product, RBit FROGS™ aka Remember Bring it – Fun Reminders Of the Green Scene, has made it past the first stage of the Walmart Get on the Shelf Contest - hopping into the audition round. This online crowdsourcing round involves a social media voting platform that is open to the public until September 2nd.
